Last Friday, our school was visited by a group of students from the Copenhagen International School komo, Denmark. The students of year 2 of “ESO” who belong to the multilingual groups had the opportunity to exchange and talk to them in English.
Firstly, we gave them a warm welcome, our headmaster gave a speech and we took some photos together in the hall of our school. Then, teachers chose a Danish mentor for us and we had the chance to talk with them while we were walking to our town’s main square.
Secondly, when we arrived, we danced and sang songs all together. We shared moments of laughter and also exchanged phone numbers to be able to be in touch in the future.
Later, we came back to our high school and we all had a brunch in the yard. When we finished we did a questionnaire in pairs to know each other better. Before leaving, they wanted to play a football match against us. It was very funny!
Our Danish friends finally left at afternoon, doubtless we had had a great day meeting new people who come from so far. We are very happy to have shared a day with strangers who became friends so quickly and we hope to see them again one day
