FRANCE – Nice

During their stay in Nice, three inspectors from Valencia participated in various activities and meetings focused on the exchange of knowledge and educational practices, and had the opportunity to learn about the French educational system in the academic region of PACA (Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur). Throughout the four-day visit, relevant topics were addressed, such as language learning for adults, the inclusion of immigrants, diversity in the classroom, and the evaluation of teachers in the French system.

The programme also included direct observations in educational centers to analyze the functioning and strategies applied at different levels of teaching. They visited the Lycée Carnot in Cannes, where they accompanied an inspector on a mentoring visit to a trainee teacher; a ULIS ESCOLE in Menton (Local Units for School Inclusion); and the French school in Ventimiglia, where they conversed with the teaching staff, sharing experiences and best practices.
