Job Shadowing in Krakow: New Educational Experiences for the Inspectorate
In October 2025, three inspectors from the Comunitat Valenciana participated in a Job Shadowing program in Krakow, Poland, with the aim of gaining first-hand insight into the Polish educational system, exchanging best practices, and exploring innovative teaching methodologies.
During the visit, the inspectors were welcomed by local educational authorities and toured a variety of educational institutions, ranging from bilingual schools and kindergartens to secondary schools.
At each institution, they were able to closely observe innovative methodologies, including bilingual teaching, coding activities, development of logical thinking, digital education, and interdisciplinary projects that foster creativity, cooperation, and knowledge integration. Special attention was given to the organization of activities that promote active student participation and the development of social and cognitive skills.

The program also included cultural visits, such as the Schindler Museum and tours of Krakow’s historic Old Town, providing a social and historical context that enriches the understanding of the educational environment.
This experience allowed the inspectors from the Comunitat Valenciana to exchange knowledge with their Polish counterparts, discover new educational metholdologies, and strengthen international cooperation.

The inspectors had the opportunity to analyze leadership and educational management strategies, as well as approaches for integrating technology and active methodologies into daily teaching. They also explored experiences in educational programming and logical thinking activities applied in both early childhood and primary education, reinforcing the importance of fostering digital skills from an early age.
