“Finnish Education System: Vocational Training”

In September, two educational inspectors from the Valencian Community traveled to Finland to participate in a course specifically focused on adult and vocational education (FP). This program offered participants the opportunity to analyze how the Finnish system connects education with the labor market through visits to vocational training centers.

In addition to theoretical sessions, cultural activities were also carried out, exploring the historical and cultural heritage of the cities of Porvoo and Helsinki.

“Finnish Education System: All Levels”

In August, three members of the Educational Inspection from the Valencian Community traveled to Finland to participate in a course focused on understanding the various levels of the Finnish education system, from early childhood education to high school and higher education.

During this week-long program, they delved into the history of the Finnish educational model, its academic pathways, and the innovative methodologies that have made it a global benchmark. The course combined theoretical sessions with visits to several educational centers to observe their practical functioning.

The activities were complemented by cultural visits to Porvoo and Helsinki, highlighting points of interest such as Porvoo’s old town and Suomenlinna, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
