CPFPA Torrent has been chosen to be part of the National Network of State Digital Training Centres, a project funded by the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan-Next Generation EU funds.

MAIN OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT

To enable citizens outside the education and training system, with special attention to people over 55 years old, to be trained in transversal digital skills, which are necessary to cope on a daily basis in an increasingly digitised society.
To make available to society in general the infrastructures and resources of the centres dependent on the educational administrations by equipping and dedicating classrooms for digital training activities.

IDEA’T FAIR

Once again, CPFPA Torrent took part in the IDEA’T Fair, held on April 10th, 2025, in Torrent’s Main Square. The centre hosted an information stand to present its training programmes and upcoming news for the 2025-2026 academic year. One of the key updates is its new role as a training centre in digital skills for people over 55, regardless of whether they are current students. This event, organised by Torrent City Council and the municipal company IDEA’T, aims to promote vocational training among students in secondary school, baccalaureate, and vocational training cycles, as well as to encourage the exchange of ideas between educational centres in the region.
