Què és eTwinning?
Des de la seva creació el 2005, eTwinning s’ha convertit en la major xarxa social europea de docents i centres escolars. L’objectiu d’eTwinning és promoure i facilitar el contacte, l’intercanvi d’idees i el treball en col·laboració entre professorat i alumnat dels països que participen en eTwinning, a través de les TIC. A més d’oferir oportunitats d’interacció i de formació, docents i alumnes de dos centres escolars de diferents països europeus poden desenvolupar projectes de col·laboració a través d’Internet sobre qualsevol tema de l’àmbit escolar acordat pels participants.
Sobre el projecte / About the projecte
“Not Be A Bully, Be A Buddy!” is our project name. Our project has a total of 12 partners. Founded by Batman Fatih Secondary School English teacher Yasemin ÖZDEMİR, our project has 7 partners from Turkey, 3 partners from Spain, 1 partner from Italy and 1 partner from Poland. Our project co-founder is Juan Pedros Talens from Ceip Santissim Crist school in Spain.
Peer bullying, a concept widely used in schools lately, or “bullying” as it is known all over the world, is frequently experienced in schools and creates situations that seriously damage children’s social lives. Peer bullying; It is the name given to verbal or physical violence committed by people of the same age against each other or a single person, usually in schools or in friendship environments. To explain a little more, a group or a single person; It is trying to crush another person or people verbally, physically or in cyber environments. Such events reduce student motivation and academic success, and over time, students lose their connection with the school.
In this project, we want to raise awareness about peer bullying and reduce this phenomenon that frequently occurs in our schools. In addition, we aim to ensure that our teachers and students use technology effectively with the Web 2 tools that we will use in the activities of our project, and that our teachers and students use English effectively since the project language is English since we have foreign partners.
