The third graders’ play was a complete success! Under the direction of our teacher Rocío, and with the special collaboration of Roberto, the music teacher, the students had a fantastic time while learning a lot.
The story they chose couldn’t have been more beautiful: “The Old man and the hill”, a traditional Japanese tale about courage, generosity, and caring for others. And our boys and girls brought it to life with emotion, tenderness… and loads of talent!
Throughout the rehearsals, they worked on memory, pronunciation, and even how to speak loud and clear in front of an audience. And the results were amazing.
Besides having a blast, preparing this play helped them develop creativity, teamwork, and self-confidence. All while having lots of fun!
Congratulations to everyone for doing such a great job. And a big thank you to our teacher Rocío for this brilliant idea… and for helping us dream for a little while with the story of the old man.
