GOOD WEEDS

Aren’t they pretty?

Many good weeds grow in our school: mallows, arugula, dandelions, oats, Valencian chamomile… many of them are edible, others are not, but they attract insects, birds and other animals.

We want our school to be a space close to nature where we can observe, analyze, and study the natural environment without leaving our playground.

Herbicides and pesticides have no place here, and we want to see the natural process of deterioration of annual plants.

Over time we will plant others and we will study the relationships established between them, but when you look at our garden do it with the eyes of the lizard that finds a place to hide, of the butterfly that has flowers to feed on or of the bee that seeks the exquisite nectar to prepare its honey.

This is a school, ladies and gentlemen: welcome to the concept of PERMACULTURE.
