DON’T SAY YOU WERE AFRAID

Say that you wanted to spend a day at home under the cover watching movies and eating popcorn. Say that you were lazy, that you didn’t have to work and wanted to take advantage of it to be with your kids. Say that spending time with your family was a long time coming. Say that the alarm clock didn’t ring and that when you got up it was already too late. Say that you couldn’t find your raincoat, or your boots, or your umbrella… say that your car didn’t start, but don’t say that you were afraid of the rain, because the rain will fall many times throughout our lives and that will be a very good sign. Don’t say you were afraid because one day they will have to go to work, even if it rains, and they will have to prepare breakfast, and they will have to take the car or walk and take their children to school. Do not say you were afraid because fear paralyzes, and it does not help us grow.

The rain is good. Sometimes it rains on weekdays, sometimes it rains on a Sunday. The next time it rains, take the opportunity to teach them to walk to school in the rain, because, as Julio Iglesias sung, “if it starts to rain, don’t run, getting wet means growing up and running through puddles, you may fall”.

 Have a good day!
