One as fat and as good as the first of the 2023 harvest. Although our principl ate it in a single bite, he assures that it was delicious and very sweet, although a little bit spicy.
Our school garden is very modest, but it has the love and care of all the boys and girls at school and the care of our teachers with the advice and guidance of Mrs. Magda and Mrs. Susi.
Our garden is starting, and of course we would love to be able to supply the school kitchen, and that the beans, tomatoes and peppers would give us enough to feed the whole school… but, realistically, we will settle for our students having the possibility to watch things we can eat grow.
Cultivating the land is hard, like many things in life are. Things don’t always turn out the way we want and we can’t always control all the elements, but, oh how do we enjoy seeing the fruit of our labor!
