This is how the first day of school was this morning. We really did not expect your applause. We are not sure if it was because the school year has finally started or because you recognize the effort that all of us have made to get it done on time. We want to think that it was the latter.
We had never experienced something like this, but of course, we had never moved a whole school with your help. On those days when things don’t go as well as we would like to and our work doesn’t seem to bear fruit, we will remember that time in August when we all performed the miracle of starting a new school and, of course, today’s applause will always be with us. Thank you for moments like this!
