We start a new topic, unit 20: Area, we are learning how:

• To calculate the area and the perimeter of 2D shapes
• Estimate and measure the area of regular and irregular 2D shapes
• Calculate area using square centimetres and square metres.
• Discover the area of a rectangle is the length by its width

After learning how to find the area by counting squares and also the area of a rectangle (length x width), today you’ve had a challenge.
