Hello children,
We start a new topic, unit 9: Lines and angles, we are learning how:
- To recognise, classify and describe angles and relate angles to shape and the environment.
- To estimate, measure and construct angles in degrees.
- To explore the sum of the angles in a triangle.
So there are some contents that we have been learning and I hope you still remember. But let’s refresh your bright mind! Can you remember the name of the different types of lines? What about the types of angles? In these poster you can find all the information, and I have also uploded them below in case you want to print them out.
Now that we have reviewed all, it is time to use the protractor? Do you know how to use it?
Perhaps you think that measuring angles is fun and also easy peasy lemon squeezy, right?? but how would you measure a REFLEX ANGLE? To do so, have a look at this video to find it out!! Tomorrow we will start using a protractor and measuring all kind of angles.
