We are going to start the unit 16: TIME, and we are learning how:

• To investigate the relationship between units of time.
• To convert units of time.
• To interpret and convert between times in 12 hour and 24 hour format.
• To read and interpret timetables and the 24 hour clock (digital and analogue).

How many seconds are there in 3 minutes?

Tom was waiting for a bus for 5 minutes. How many seconds did he wait?

It is important to know the relationship between units of time. Although I am sure you remember some of them, there are still some people don’t remember all, so here you have this poster that you will have to copy in your notebook in order to refresh your smarty brain.

Today you are going to investigate the relationship between units of time.
