We have been learning how to convert an improper fraction to a mixed fraction and vice versa.
Although I have showed you different strategies, this is one them, and these are the following steps:

How to convert an improper fraction to a mixed fraction
1. Divide the bottom number (denominator) into the top number (numerator) 7÷ 4.
2. Write down the whole number answer: 1
3. Write down the remainder over the denominator: there is a remainder of 3.
4. The answer is 1 3/4

How to convert a mixed fraction to an improper fraction
1. Multiply the denominator (the bottom number in the fraction) and the whole number.
2. Add the answer from Step 1 to the numerator (the top number in the fraction).
3. Write answer from Step 2 over the denominator.
