Hi everyone,

We have started a new topic, all about PLACE VALUE. Do you remember what you have learnt? We’ve been learning how:

1. To read, write and order whole numbers.
2. To identify place value in whole numbers.
3. To round whole numbers to the nearest 10, 100 and 1,000.

In order to practice more, you have to do this homework. 

• First, have a look at the PDF to review how to round numbers to the nearest 10, 100 and 1,000.
• Then, find enclosed two PDF’s: U.1 Place Value 1 (it has to be done the whole page) and U.1 Place Value 2 (you only have to do exercise 5 and 6)

How do you have to set up your work? (I have already explained it in the class but….pay attention again!)

• You can print out these documents and later, stick them in your notebook (“libreta viajera”)
• If you don’t want to print them out, copy the activities in your notebook (“libreta viajera”)
• Please, take care of the presentation and try to keep your “libreta viajera” neat and tidy as well.
• We will correct the exercises on Monday
