3D SHAPE OPTIONAL PROJECT
Here comes another fun project!!
Our current Maths unit is focused on Geometry, specificallt, 3D shapes. We don’t realise but we are surrounded by 3D shapes, such us square based pyramids, cuboids, spheres and so on. To challenge all of you, you have this optional project about a Shape Robot Project!
This project involves to find different 3D shapes around the house, outside, from your work, wherever! You are to use these shapes/recycled objects to build your own shape robot! There are no guidelines in terms of what the robot must include or have. The goal of this project is to see that shapes are all around us and different shapes come together to create something new. For example, a rectangle and a cylinder come together to make a flag. These are things that we often see everyday but we don’t often think about. HAVE FUN!!! ![]()
Activity: To make a robot made out of recycled materials and write a list of the 3D shapes on a piece of paper
Deadline: 15th March
