ETWINNING 25-26 CITIZEN: 6.1 International E-Waste Day
Our students have successfully completed the e-waste activity.
First, they watched the video “What is WASTE Pollution? | What Causes Electronic Waste?” to learn about the concept of electronic waste, its causes, and its environmental impact.
Afterwards, they worked in class to create short sentences explaining what e-waste is and why it is important to manage it properly. These ideas were shared collaboratively on the project’s online pinboard, allowing them to exchange opinions and reflections with our eTwinning partners.
Finally, the students voted and selected the sentences they thought best represented the concept of e-waste. The winning sentences were:
1️⃣ E-waste is a growing environmental problem caused by discarded electronics.
2️⃣ E-waste needs responsible management.
3️⃣ Recycle your electronics, save the planet.
This activity helped students understand the importance of responsible e-waste management and encouraged them to think about how they can reduce electronic waste in their daily lives.
