ETWINNING 25-26. CTRL+ALT+LEARN 2.4 Discovering Our Countries and Cities

As part of our international eTwinning project, students are preparing a presentation to introduce their country and city to their European partners. The aim of this activity is to help everyone gain a better understanding of the places where our project partners live, fostering curiosity, cultural exchange, and a sense of connection among all participants.

Each student must prepare a short presentation that includes:

• Location in the country – Where exactly their city or town is situated.
• Location in Europe – Which part of Europe their country belongs to.
• Geographical features – Important natural elements such as mountains, rivers, lakes, or nearby landscapes.
• Famous places – Landmarks, monuments, or sites that make their city special.
• A brief description – What life is like there, what people can see or do, and what makes their hometown unique.

Through this activity, students will develop their digital, linguistic, and intercultural skills, while learning to value both their own local identity and the diversity of other European regions. The presentations will be shared on TwinSpace so that all partner schools can explore and learn more about each other’s countries.
