ETWINNING 25-26 CITIZEN: A8.2 XMAS CARDS

TASK:

Dear partners;

students will create a common online New Year’s cards with the message “Green” using Canva, and we will share the cards with all students, teachers and school staff via the digital platforms used in our schools (e.g. MS Teams, school website…).

For common New Year greeting cards, each partner will create a New Year’s card (using a single page) in the shared Canva.

We will share the Canva editing link in the Twinspace teacher bulletin.
To prevent the deletion of our work, please do not share the Canva editing link with your students.
Important:Please ensure your students are supervised by the teacher while working on the shared Canva. This will prevent pages from being deleted or lost. Thank you.

TASK PLANNING:

We are going to work collaboratively to create Christmas cards for the project, using the project’s word green, the color green, and the project logo. To do this, we will organize students into groups of three in the two classes that participate directly in the project (2ESO) and in the other eTwinning class (4ESO). Once each group has finished its proposal, we will hold a vote and and each class will select its own candidate. Then, a tribunal composed of eTwinning teachers from the center will select the winning one. As always, the student coordinators will organize the contest, and our principal will present the prize on Christmas activities day.

ACTIVITY RESULT:

We really enjoyed the December activities. We contributed to the collaborative presentation and created Christmas cards together. Each class worked in groups, and then we organized a contest among three classes.

Students voted for the Christmas card they liked the most from their own class.

Next, an etwinning teachers’ tribunal selected the best Christmas card from those chosen by each class. The winners are from Esther’s class (Green Digital Citizen)

The selected Christmas cards received awards from the principal and are now displayed on our collaborative Canva. Thank you for this amazing month, and have a wonderful year!
