ETWINNING 25-26 CITIZEN: A7.2 CAMPAIGN

TASK:
Optional – Extra Activity:
Dear partners, to raise awareness of our project and environmental issues within your school community, you can launch an e-waste or paper collection campaign at your school. You can collaborate with your school administration to organize this campaign.
TASK PLANNING:
At our high school, we undertake this initiative with great enthusiasm. We organise the three classes enrolled in the elective eTwinning programme, assigning each class responsibility for a specific component of the project. Our student coordinators oversee all coordination activities and have held a meeting with the coordinators from the other classes to ensure effective collaboration.
ACTIVITY RESULT:
Students from Esther’s class designed posters to promote the collection campaign and prepared a digital poll for voting.
Once the best poster is selected, we display it on the walls of the high school, especially above the battery collection container.

We set the date of 28 November to go to the Ecoparque in Vila-real to dispose of our e-waste. The town council organised a talk for us about waste management in Vila-real and how we can recycle properly.

Our students had a great idea to connect this project with climate action initiatives from the European platform through the EarthProject app, as you can see in the link below.
We are going to use this app to track the amount of e-waste collected and share the results in our Tàrrega group with all the eTwinning elective classes.
