CLIMATE ACTION PROJECT 25-26: C1 DEFINITION

WEEK 1

TASK:

Week 1 will be about the definition for climate change and its causes. We want you to discover with your students what climate change is and how it is caused.

3. Share and inspire other participants

By sharing your students’ findings, other classrooms can learn from you. This is the most essential part of this week and a requirement leading to your personalized Level 1 certificate.

4. Join our live Kickoff 

We’ll be kicking off the Climate Action Project on September 29th during a webinar where we will go through the project components and opportunities. You’ll be able to ask questions.

TASK PLANNING:

We read about climate change and watch the videos available on the Climate Action platform. The student coordinator prepares a presentation for their classmates, along with a short Kahoot quiz. They will share this activity with their classmates and other eTwinning classes.

In Week 1, we will focus on the definition of climate change and its causes. The goal is for you and your students to explore what climate change is and how it happens. To achieve this, we designed a PowerPoint presentation to share definitions and key information with the class, followed by a Kahoot quiz the student coordinator of this activity created to reinforce learning in a fun and interactive way.
