Is Week 5 of the project and time to take action! For this next week, we ask you to take positive action. If you wonder which individual actions you can take, please take a look at our free app EarthProject!
Time for action! Plant a tree (and get your own)
One special action is planting a tree. Did you know the only way to get carbon out of the air (in a sustainable way) is by planting trees? We have been planting trees for the past five years and so far 2,353,905 trees have been planted. Isn’t that amazing! You can see all of the tree plantings on our impact page.
It would be great if you can plant one or a few trees as well. You can record your tree planting at the platform and claim a certificate! And, we have something very exciting – while planting a tree, you can claim a tree which has been planted in another country! Isn’t that cool?! Having a tree at the other side of the world!

TASK PLANNING:
We will contact Pascual Sebastià and his gardening students to plan the tree planting activity. We’ll also invite the students from the other 2ESO eTwinning group so that we can carry out this activity together. We will make the most of these sessions to promote the project by displaying the climate change definitions from Activity C1.
ACTIVITY RESULT:
We had a wonderful day planting our tree and enjoying the activity together with the gardening students and the other 2ESO eTwinning group.
We disseminated the project by creating climate-change posters and hanging them throughout the high school.
