6th Learning Situation 1 “At the department store”

AT THE DEPARTMENT STORE

During this learning unit, we explored clothing vocabulary in English and connected it with meaningful content such as carbon footprint, the respiratory system, the grammatical structure “have to”, and past-tense questions.
To support this process, we used the All About Us Activity Book (Oxford), together with a specially designed educational dossier.

The dossier includes:

• a thinking routine,
• an introductory text on grammar and the topic,
• a culture section,
• a comic strip,
• sentence-building activities,
• and a final summary explaining the final product.

🟠 VALENCIÀ

Durant aquesta situació d’aprenentatge hem treballat el vocabulari de la roba en anglès i l’hem relacionat amb continguts significatius com l’empremta de carboni, el sistema respiratori, l’estructura gramatical “have to” i les preguntes en passat.
Per a donar suport al procés hem utilitzat l’Activity Book All About Us (Oxford), juntament amb un dossier creat per a ampliar els aprenentatges.

Aquest dossier inclou:

• una rutina de pensament,
• un text introductori sobre la gramàtica i la temàtica,
• un apartat de cultura,
• un còmic,
• activitats de construcció d’oracions,
• i un resum final amb l’explicació del producte final.
