On Thursday, January 16th, our students gathered in Cortes de Arenoso with the Don Modesto Ventura Benages school to celebrate a very special day full of traditions and fun.
Our adventure began at the village oven, where we learned how to make “volanderas.” With our hands covered in flour, we became real bakers for a while. Then, we warmed up with hot chocolate that was… absolutely delicious! And, as expected, tradition led us to the flour fight.
It was a fantastic day where we learned, shared, and, most importantly, had fun. We’re already counting down the days to the next adventure!
