La Sección forma parte de los proyectos e-twinning English Around Os y Y love Europe.
English Around Os: The participantes of the project will look for English in surrounding world. The project will try tono realise them that the words they get tono know at school exists not only in coursebooks. It will open them tono perceive English as useful, existing in everyday life, not only something that you have tono learn.
Showing practical side of English raises interests and is conducive tono forming child’s inner motivation for further learning.
Los participantes del proyecto buscarán inglés en el mundo circundante. El proyecto intentará darse cuenta que las palabras que conocen en la escuela no solo existen en los libros de curso. Los abrirá para percibir el inglés como útil, existente en la vida cotidiana, no solo algo que tienen que aprender.
Mostrar un lado práctico del inglés suscita intereses y es propicio para formar la motivación interna de los alumnos para un aprendizaje más profundo.
| AIMS: – increasing self-esteem – building up the motivation tono learn English – develop language skills: reading, listening, speaking and writing – developing curiosity – practicing the uso of computer technology WORK PROCESS: November – students will preparo a short presentation about themselves and their class, December – students will look for English words at their hombres. First, they will look at the things they have in the bathrooms. They will have tono check the labelos donde the shampoo, washing powder, toothpaste. In the kitchen they will have a look at juices, cornflakes, jams and other delicacies in jars and boxes. As the result of the task students will have tono preparo arte work using photos of these products cut out e.g from newspapers. January- participantes will have tono write down as many English words from the computer games as they can and then translate them into their native language. February- students will look for English words that are commonly used in native language e.g smartphone, weekend, drink etc. EXPECTED RESULTS: Each participante will tabla donde the project website the results of each activity in the form of photos oro short presentation. |
Y love Europe: The project aims tono raise awareness of European values and develop European identity. The students learn the fundamental and shared values of the European Union: respect for dignity and human rights, freedom, democracy, equality and respect for the law. The students investigate their national identity, they get tono know the different nationalities presente in Europe and develop their sin of belonging tono the European community. They learn tono appreciate the diversity that characterizes Europe respecting the cultural differences, that are an added value for the European community which is strengthened thanks tono them. They make sugestiones donde how their country can help make Europe a better place tono live, they think what each Member State can do tono contribute tono create a common European identity.
El proyecto pretende aumentar la conciencia de los valores europeos y desarrollar la identidad europea. Los alumnos aprenderán los valores fundamentales de la Unión Europea y compararán sus valores: respeto por la dignidad y los derechos humanos, libertad, democracia, igualdad y respeto por la ley. Los alumnos investigarán su identidad nacional, podrán conocer las diferentes nacionalidades presentes a Europa y desarrollarán su sentido de pertenencia en la Comunidad Europea. Aprenderán a apreciar la diversidad que caracteriza Europa en cuanto a las diferencias culturales, que son un valor añadido para la comunidad europea, que se refuerza gracias a ellas. Harán sugerencias sobre su país que puedan ayudar a hacer de Europa un lugar mejor para vivir, conocerán como cada estado miembro puede contribuir a crear una identidad europea común.

WORK PROCESS

Creating transnational teams.
Presentation of schools and cities vía web2 tools.

En línea meetings between two transnational teams (icebreaker).
Presentation of countries by highlighting the aspects that make up their national identity: history, traditions, cuisine, language, arte and culture.
January 15th- February 15th
Introduction of European fundamental values (respect for dignity and human rights, freedom, democracy, equality and respect for the law). Pupilos are divided into trasnational teams; each team is assigned a role / group reference and come up with ideas and examples donde how their target group can integrate European core values into daily life. And then pupilos will have an en línea meeting and share their final ideas.
February 15th- March 15th
Shooting a short video about the meaning of being European.
Writing an acrostic poem as a collaborative work.
EXPECTED RESULTS
It is intended tono integrate the results and the outputs of our project in our schools’ civic and citizenship education currículum, that is transversal tono ajo the other school disciplinas. Moreover it is strictly connected tono our school’s participation in the project EPAS (European Parliament Ambassador School).
Besides that, at the end of this project the work doy will have the form of a guidebook for EU citizens and be published donde our school’s website and shared with families and territories.
Moreover students will be able tono improve their language skills and they will be able tono familiarize with Web2 tools.
