Yesterday our partner Gabriel learnt different techniques to evaluate students and self-evaluation of the teaching process. After that they had a guided tour to the facilities of the Institute of Santarem where they explores different rooms such as: The TV, a class 100 years ago and the great opportunity they had to attend to a physic class in order to create a rocket.

During the afternoon, Gabriel and some partner of the course had visited Coimbra exploring the city and tasting some delicious and typical food of the area.

Yesterday our partner Gabriel started the course Teaching Tolerance in Santarem. During the morning they did some practical activities in order to integrate the students in the class. During the afternoon they did a sightseeing in Lisbon where he visited the romanic cathedral, the central market as well as library Ler Devagar.

During the first session of the course Learn to teach English an any other subject with Drama our partner Belén has had the opportunity to learn more about the importance that feelings have in the students’ learning process. She also has put into practice different techniques to avoid nerves while students are doing oral presentations and how they should modulate their voice, body language and self-confidence.

The first session started with an introductory presentation of the course where the participant has been able to interchange different teaching methodologies, experiences and how to face different topics in class such as: motivating, early leaving from school and cyberbullying. In the evening they have visited the library as well as other important monuments.

We are really glad to announce that the responsible of Erasmus+ in Conselleria de Educación has published two articles about our Erasmus+. Also, the company of Bologna’s course has posted a report about the week.

During this week 3 teachers of our school will have the opportunity to participate in differentes Erasmus+ course, in particular, BeléN, Mª José and Gabriel. They will be in Amsterdam, Oslo and Santarem. We want to share you some picture they sent about their first hours in this great adventure.
